Nigeria is full of armed robbers and fraudsters. Corruption permeates the entire government and everyone is involved, from the very top to the lowest. Robbery are carried out even by those in power. Recently, the country’s Senate President and No 3 citizen was linked to a high profile robbery incident in a town called Offa in Kwara State.

Visitors are advised to keep luggage, money, expensive jewelries  and credit cards with the hotel before going to meetings with government functionaries.

Those visiting Port Harcourt and who have reasons to visit a mechanic should avoid a notorious mechanic at the Elekahia Mechanic Village, whose workshop is called EIGO MECHANIC WORKSHOP. He is notorious for removing original parts and replacing them with fake parts.

Visitors to Port Harcourt are also advised  to carry an ATM card in order to be able to “settle” SARS if arrested.
